FDTI will give you a free PID to go with their chips. The INI can then be modified to show your product. Microsoft and Verisign both need to be paid to put in on Microsoft's site to be totally professional.
But depending on what you are doing you may want to do a HID device. If the have to ask, you are not writing custom drivers. |
