Note that AC-coupling destroys all DC information from the original signal and does not work down to 0 Hz.
If you start by subtracting 8.4V, you would have a signal between 0.1 and 0.6V that can then be scaled based on the range of the ADC. The scaling will also scale the DC error from the initial 8.4V subtraction. |
