3) Have you carefully studied and implemented the commands with regard to the PD bit to make sure that you have not accidently put the device in PD mode which causes the outputs to go to float mode looking like 16K ohms to AGND. I have a feeling that the MAX521 is in the PD mode. I could not find any mention in the datasheet which says that on powerup the MAX521 is in PD mode. As far as I can ascertain, the commands in my code are correct and I am not accidentally putting the MAX521 in PD mode either. Would be grateful if someone can cross check my code.
