#179632 - boot time of embedded system should be very low Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I want to know / measure time taken by the controller to execute its bootloader and startup code.before the execution of main function. Does the manufacturer gives us the boottime information in his application note or data sheet.
time taken to execute startup can be claculated by getting the asm instructions and calculating its time of execution. but bootloader is not available to the user to be measured by any means. Can we not be any means measure boot time of any embedded system, But during requirement we say boot time of embedded system should be very low or less. Then what is the value of that, and how it is derived. Can user test it using any device. |
