Hi Goran,
You could write some unique characters to specific RAM locations. When the CPU resets check the value of those bytes. If the values are what you wrote then the odds are that the CPU was reset by the user after power up. This method is not totally foolproof because there is a very small probability that these RAM bytes powered up with those values but if you use enough RAM bytes and unique values then the probability of false alarm would be very, very small.
