#179352 - RC Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Richard,
I agree completely with you. The old RC reset circuit can cause some problems. This is the old design (2004) which worked in a field for several years. The voltage supervisor chip (TI TPS3824-50DBVR) is used in the design’s reset circuitry. The chip is supplied with DCDC converter over the isolation. The original chip P89C51RD2 is replaced with P89V51RD2. I had some functionality to add. I needed to detect difference between power up reset and a forced reset. It seems that POF flag doesn't work. Thanks, g |
