#179189 - an interesting anecdote Responding to: ???'s previous message |
(with leap year and daylight savings)
The Hilton hotel chain had a non-modifiable alarm clock with automatic daylight savings made and one day in spring all guests in Arizona was an hour late for their appointments. Then the dates for daylight savings were changed and now the maintenance guy has, twice a year, to open every clock in the hotel. The moral is DO NOT HARDCODE what the government can change. Erik |
