I really think this is a great idea. Many times when big "brands" like Bosch sell you a product there is a small guy not related at all to Bosch that made the product. He showed Bosch the product and they liked it and put Bosch logo on. That is how it has been working for 15 years now... You do NOT get a Bosch even if the brand is Bosch (on most occations). OEM and ODM is the name of this.
Therefore in order to give the small guy a small startup cost so he can actually show Bosch what he got without being ruined, this idea goes a long way. More people will design and redesign and most people will benefit from this. Bosch might even like the new design and functions! If we can be allowed to have a small logo on the website (for IC) we can give a way USD 100.000 every year to the greatest developer on that site. If you do this please notify me. We are highly interested to promote new ideas like this if we think it will be fruitful. We can also provide space on fast web-servers when the site is up. Best Regards, Solomon Goldstein |
