#176155 - not a micro job Responding to: ???'s previous message |
assume the reader has a basic knowledge of programing (i don't).
The best way to learn the basics of programming is on the PC. On the PC you have full view of everything and do not need to go through write the code/compile it/program the micro/see it not work/scratch your head/try something else/repeat. If that is not feasible, unplug your board and develop the basic skills using a simulator rather than the board. If it does not work in the simulator (most likely) it will not work on the chip. As to your hardware problem you either have inserted a chip backwards ot the wrong (polarity?) power supply oe a bad serial cable. Erik |
