Most derivatives work right from DC, so crystals like 3.57MHz and 4MHz are also suitable. That upper limit is probably also out-of-date. These are Implementation details; as alreadt noted, it's an old book - so Implementation details like this will be out-of-date! General principles and Architecture details should still be applicable, though. Just don't take it as representative of the current "state of the art"... |
