#175485 - No much difference
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Just about all software development requiers some serious efford and discipline and rarely is a 9 to 5 job.

It's just a question if you want to ship working software or are fine with something that may possibly work on a sunny day when the user has just rebooted the brand new computer and it's your birthday.

It's just the large availability of PCs and Internet that makes lousy programmers able to flood the world with lousy PC programs. Had there been more common hw platforms, they would manage to flood the world with lousy embedded applications too. Also, the lack of a large monitor and HDD for trace output makes some of the worst developers stay away from embedded programming - it isn't graphical enough.
