No 8051 can uphold the required speed of PCI. You would need an external PCI controller or FPGA with such next to it.
But not all is lost. If it isn't communication speed you're after, I guess you could use the SMBus that is also available on the PCI connector. Almost all SiLabs MCU's have an SMBus interface. |
