#174290 - USB 2.0 Compliant Yet Only Full Speed 12MHz |
Would someone help me understand something about what it means when SiLabs states that their USB enabled MCUs (such as C8051F344) are USB2.0 compliant and yet only are specified to support data transfers at Low Speed (1.5MHz) and Full Speed (12MHz).
Does anyone know if SiLabs has any support for MCUs that work at High Speed (480 MHz) rate. Note that I could not find any when I looked. +-+-+ You may ask why I do not post this question at the SiLabs discussion forum. Well I have to say that I tried repeatedly. Their forum software interface pretty much stinks. On top of that they seem to have purged my membership credentials. And then to make matters worse, after I signed up with a new account, they hit me up with an account unknown response every time I try to post there. Even though the web page shows me as logged in. Argh...Argh. So back here to good old 8052.com. Michael Karas |
