Can I set a variable at start of each function and read it at start of the micro in case of I put on the RST PIN / button ? Yes, that's the kind of thing I was suggesting. (will this variable be erase at start is the micro start due to a RST ?) Check the specific datasheet, but the Reset itself will almost certinly not clear memory - you just need to be sure that nothing in your hardware or software (including startup files) clears that memory... In other hand, I wouldn't have to do that, because if my program is freeze in a function, the watchdog will restart it, isn't it ? But I thought you said that your problem is that the watchdog does not reset?! More information : I've got some serial commands to dialoguate with the micro. I think "communicate" is the word you need there? This function works fine, so my watchdog works fine too... Beware of concluding more than the evidence actually supports: That just tells you that the watchdog works in that particular case; there may still be other cases where it does not work properly - whether because it's got disabled somehow, or your refresh scheme is flawed, or whatever... |
