#173986 - more details
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hello,

First I would like to thanks you a lot for all your answers.

Your posts give me an idea :

Can I set a variable at start of each function and read it at start of the micro in case of I put on the RST PIN / button ? (will this variable be erase at start is the micro start due to a RST ?)

In other hand, I wouldn't have to do that, because if my program is freeze in a function, the watchdog will restart it, isn't it ?

More information : I've got some serial commands to dialoguate with the micro. One of these command ask the micro to do a self reset. To do that, it enter itself in an infinity loop and this is the watchdog that causes the reset. This function works fine, so my watchdog works fine too...

Thanks a lot
