The "ready made C" (or any other compiled language) is still no better than asm in this case.

I disagree with the implication that this is restricted to "any compiled language", the lack of quality of downloadable code is the same regardless of language.

but I agree with
In most cases ready made code is no better (or quicker to implement) than writing your own your own.
