Hmmm... I wonder if there's any quantitative data for what "most" people actually do?

These days, lots of manufacturers provide some sort of "driver" support code for their chips:

  • Do "most" people ignore it, and work straigh from the datasheet?
  • Do "most" people look at it for ideas, and then write their own?
  • Do "most" people just use it?
    Or what?

    Perhaps we should start a poll...
