#170771 - RTC problem |
I have made a clock using DS1307 RTC ,AT89S52 microcontroller and 16x2 char LCD. I have battery backed up the RTC,as the clock is to be installed in the car and the oscillator should run at all times to maintain the time. All is well, except for one thing. Each time the clock's power is switched off and then switched on,there is a certain 0.5 to 1 sec lag in the time that is displayed .So,that means if the clock is set 10 seconds ahead of a reference clock,it comes to level with it, if the clock is switched off and on 10 times.I tried changing the delay time used for data writing for LCD,but that didn't change things a bit.
Any thing that i have missed? |
