The clock doubling option can be enabled using an external programmer or by IAP calls. Yes, but IIRC it's a one-way "function" - you can enable the x2 mode, but you cannot disable it through IAP. Basically, the IAP call programs the "fuse" in the same way as through ISP or (parallel) device programmer, so it takes some time to switch from 12-clock to 6-clock mode, and you cannot switch back from the software. The only way to "clear" that "fuse" is to perform a bulkerase using device programmer. JW |
