On the 'V', the 6-clock/12-clock mode is not switchable on the fly, from firmware.
If you definitively need this feature, go for the Atmel's AT89C51RD2/ED2, or the NXP P89CV51RD2 (the availability of the latter at your location might be a problem, though; I haven't seen one yet). But if you tell us why do you want to do that, we might perhaps discuss possible alternative solutions. JW |
