#167569 - Do I need parallel programmer for SM5964 |
I am new to 8051 world.
If I buy SM5964, or VRS51C1000, or VRS1000, how can I ensure that these controllers contain the ISP firmware necessary to facilitate ISP programming, do I really have to ask their manufacturers or it's enough to look at the datasheet, thu not all of them mention that their chips come with an ISP firmware, such as SM5964. If so, do I still need a parallel programmer if I want to change an existing ISP firmware, or It 0is safer to use a parallel programmer when changing the ISP firmware? |
