#167348 - Can't find LCD datasheet for initialisation Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi all,
Thank you for all the information and pointers. I have managed to get a copy of the original BIN file for the 8052, so will try to decompile it and find some trace of the initialisation procedure and how to write to the display. Sadly, it is only the BIN file I have not the original code :-(. Hopefully D52 will help here. I have just tried BIN and HEX versions of this file in two free Simulators but it seemed to crash both. Can anyone recommend a good Simulator that will handle BIN files up to about 60K? If all else fails, I will buy an ICE. Many thanks, |
