For shits-n-grins I picked up a huge (7" wide) 128x64 GLCD panel from Marlin P Jones (the Archie McPhee of surplus electronic crap). The idea was play with it and connect up an SiLabs '340 or something. But this particular GLCD dealt with its stuff in quadrants and I ended up implementing the logic using a MicroBlaze in a Xilinx kit that had an SRAM (as a display buffer).
It was pretty silly but it worked and displayed a bash terminal. -a |
