#166926 - I exactly need to know...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Kiran,
First off all thank you very much for your reply. Let me explain everything that you pointed out step by step.

* I exactly need to know how to write to GLCD and show something on the LCD screen. I'll get data from peripheral ICs and monitor them on the GLCD. I plan to use lots of font data payload which will be stored in EEPROM. And when I wanted to monitor voltage data, program will bring the voltage font (as you can see below) Just '220' numeric area will be online.(means, will be refreshed continiously)For example, I need to know how font data should be sent? Because there are two different chips. (CS1 and CS2) I'll use fastlcd.exe to prepare fonts. So, when I finished the font design, fastlcd will save a data payload for the font. Do I have to seperate this data payload for two driver chips? If yes how can I do that?

* On the other hand how should I drıve wave forms? I'll be getting digital data samples for waveforms from power meter chip.

* The GLCD connected with 8-bit parallel data bus to microcontroller. As I said before, my GLCD is a secondhand module. there is no brand on it. So, I could not find a datasheet. Timings are undefined for me.

* And finally, I used a (10Kohm) pot as you recomended.

Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions dear Kiran.

I'll be waiting for any other recomendatitons,

Best Regards
Batu C.
