#166246 - Code and XDatabanking
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I am having a project designed with 8052 specifications and is running fine with code banking. Now, there arised a need for increasing xdata variables in my code, due to which I am planning to use xdata banking.

Now, I am forced to use 8051 as we are working on a current running hardware based on 8051 and of course it is working fine.

We are using CY628128 (128k) SRAM and making use of only first 64K and there is a provision in the hardware for using XDATA banking.

I am sure that this forum is exclusively for 8051/52 microcontrollers.
