#165287 - Wrong tools? Responding to: ???'s previous message |

How can i read hex files from 89s52 using stk500 kit and avrstudio4? Clearly, AVRstudio is for working with AVR processors - so it seems highly unlikely that it will have any facilities for working with non-AVR chips. Have you studied the documentation to see if there is any suggestion that this might work? You would probably be better to ask at http://www.avrfreaks.net as the people there will be the most familiar with these AVR tools. I think the STK500 is also specifically designed for AVRs? But, as Per says, why do you actually want to do this? If you explain what you are actually trying to achieve, people may be able to offer more appropriate solutions to the actual problem... |

AVR500 can be used for some 8051 chips | 01/01/70 00:00
The STK500 should read an AT89S52 | 01/01/70 00:00
Load it into the buffer and then save it as hex file | 01/01/70 00:00
