you need a transistor with sufficient oomph to drive that relay (check datasheets) make sure you get one with Ic Max more than 12A. To drive that you need one or more additional transistors there is no '51 I know of that can drive the base enough to saturate a transistor at Ic 6A. Another option would be a mosfet, there your problem would be sufficient gate voltage from the '51. Erik |
