#160821 - In a war which is the best weapon ?
Responding to: ???'s previous message

In a war which weapon is the best ?

Answer: Depends on who you are fighting against. It can be Ants, mosquitoes, cockroaches, Cats, dogs,...lions, tigers, elephants, and military from other country, aliens...the list is endless.

For each type of enemy (from the above list), there is a weapon. You do NOT use a machine gun to kill ants, mosquitoes. And you do NOT use an insect repellant to fight lions. So the choice is yours. You select the best weapon depending upon the situation you are in. You can kill a mosquitoe with bear hands also. So the best weapon is the weapon that comes handy (and work without Errors) in TIME to finsh the job as soon as possible in the most affordable way. So you have to select the weapon.

Treat the Programmming languages as weapons, these are just the accessories, the real programmer is within you. A warrior is the person who fights and NOT the person who carries them.

As from my experience, I started off with "Assembly", later shifted to "Assembly-And-C", then to "C-And-Assembly" and now to "C". Very rarely I have to do anything in Assmebly nowadays. Now I have reached a stage where my application is ready, and I can shift the application from One CPU to another without changing the external look and feel of the product. I have developed the same product using MCS51, AVR, and PIC. Evaluated all the 3 products, but I favour MCS-51 family the most. I do not want to start a debate on this thing, but it is my personal opinion.
