This unit is connected to number of limit switches (at least 128) in the field which is approx 10 km away Do you mean that there is a group of 128 switches located together at a distance of 10km from the master? Or each switch is at a different location, 10km from the master (like spokes on a wheel - with the master at the "hub")? Or the switches are located at various distances with the furthest being 10km from the master? Or what? with only two wires. Is that one pair of wires to each sensor (spokes of a wheel again), or is it a single pair that snakes around all 128 switches, or what? Each switch is given a unique ID no. Does this mean that you need a microcontroller at each switch? A diagram would help a lot! |
