The system consists of:-
A Master controller:- This unit is connected to number of limit switches (at least 128) in the field which is approx 10 km away with only two wires. Each switch is given a unique ID no. The Master controller needs to know the ID no. of switch whenever anyone of them is activated. The master controller will then send that idno. to PLC on RS485 port. Only 2 wires are available from master controller to field switches. |
