Have you considered that your setup is simply wrong? Specifically, how have you determined that your program isn't "working"?
ISTR that I use the same values as you for 9600 baud with an 11.0592 MHz clock. That crystal produces a 0.00% error in the baud rate. How much error does 12 MHz produce? How much error in the rate is tolerable? Is it possible that your program works, but your data rates are mismatched? RE |
