A typical application for such a LED chip would be for audio bar graph displays. In many applications more than one is required e.g. two for stereo. You mention serial programming of colour weight and, I think, serial data. It would therefore be nice if it were easy to use several of these on a single serial bus with simple addressing of up to say 8 devices. I2C??
