#98424 - 8052 elementary school Responding to: ???'s previous message |
There can be made something like '51 elementary school (as opposed to Erik's '51 university). Lots of working easy examples with everything explained. Little details. Just to get basic microcontroller programming literacy. Certainly not timer mode setup, baudrate, no interrupts. Saying "look this is some initialistion we will talk about that later".
But the question is, is it worth doing it so? Are there real newbies coming today? According to the recent thread, the "old boys" came to '51 with varying, but sound background in electronics and programming, ofthen proficient in other types of microprocessors and microcontrollers. Is it different today? Are there people willing to learn/start with '51, but only with some general/basic PC usage background? OK, forget about it. It's really hot (although not Arizona nor Death Valley, 30°C+ it's too much for me..) Jan Waclawek |
