#190180 - Altium Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Erik,
I still use Protel 99, which is the precursor of current Altium. In Protel 99 they introduced the .ddb (Design Data Base) file format. All libraries, schematics, board designs, basically all of the files associated with the design are compacted into a single file, the design data base. I've never used them, but there are import functions under the File menu in Protel. I don't know if that's true for Altium, but if it is you shouldn't have any difficulty figuring it out as you click through the levels. I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but I have no intention of ever upgrading to Altium. I won't even leave my work on my own hard drives, at least not on a computer that has a live internet connection. I'm certainly not going to put it out there "in the cloud." Bon chance, Joe |
