#189067 - IGBTs and money Responding to: ???'s previous message |
When I worked extensively with Inverters I learned that 400V inverters with 1200V IGBTs blew the IGBTs occasionally whereas 1400V IGBTs did not. All calculations show that 1200 is enough. So DO NOT save money by using an IGBT that is "just enough"
