FWIW, wxWidgets has "issues" on OS X.

Those issues (including some fast redraw stuff that doesn't work on OS X) are claimed as the reason why Kicad sucks on OS X.

Good to know. For many years, I have had about zero interest in supporting Macs, but they have now started to take very significant market shares so they just can't be ignored.

Have you checked if these issues seem to be given any quality time?
