A couple of decades ago, I scrapped an old 8008 system, from which I'd extracted the 18-pin 8008 CPU cerdip and glued it to one of those craft-shop bare tie tacks. I've often worn that tie-tack when meeting a new client or starting a new project at a client's site, though I generally avoid neckties.

Perhaps that was a big mistake ... <sigh> ...
