Start with the oscillator, is it working? is it right frequency?
try toggling a pin of the micro to see if micro controller is working change MAX232 chip, since it connects to outside world, it is sensitive to damage. You can test with TX pin of micro with a scope to see output waveform, measure pulse width to verify baud rate. same with output of MAX232. Mahmood |
