#187713 - Wrong components supplied, letting off steam! |
A batch of my boards have some wrong value resistors fitted. Some of what should be 3K 0603 resistors are actually 2K in value. They passed visual inspection because they are marked 3CB, and when you are expecting a marking of 302 it looks pretty close. Tracking back through the assembly house has revealed a reel of resistors with a mix of 3K and 2K resistors in it, which I find astonishing! This means that incoming inspection of a reel isn't enough and pushes the blame all the way up to the manufacturer.
Aaaargh, having a bad week :( |
