#187487 - Sensor installing |
we need to install sensor on a storage steel tank, containing motor oil which is tied to protective earth(PE) . The sensor is hydrostatic type oil level sensor but its steel body is tied to internal GND. Is there any problem in installing such a sensor for oil level monitoring. The sensor powersupply and its outputs are totally isolated at instrumentation side. Should we expect ground loops getting developed between the internal GND and PE.
