i have a microcontroller in that 8K ROM, 1K RAM........
can you tell me where it will be text,data,BSS,Stake,Heap.... As per my knowledge text will be in CODE(ROM) memory you are talking about PC areas which have absolutotally nothing to do with where stuff goes in a 8k/ik uC e.g. text goes where you specify it to go (code/data). I know of no micro that uses the BSS name for any memory. also, with 8k/1k you better forget about the heap. Erik |
