You need to have two internally triggered channels, AND and external trigger input. Few multimeters offer that combination. Delayed sweep is a useful feature, too. I could go on.
It's more likely one will find a reasonably-priced analog 'scope of the appropriate (>=100 MHz) bandwidth capable of displaying those troublesome <10 ns glitches, than a digital one. The digital 'scopes generally do have the advantage, however, of being able to store a waveform, which none of my analog 'scopes can do at full bandwidth. RE |
