As I said in the linked thread already, back then I went through catalogues of two manufacturers and found no one matching the SBC pinout. Since then, I have seen and used several dozens of different LCD alphanumeric modules of half a dozen of manufacturers, and NO ONE had that pinout. Pray point me to a display having that. I know there are no firm standards in this area, but this one appears to hold quite well across the industry, and Craig appears to have picked the only different module. Unfortunately. (As said in that thread, there are differences in the backlighting pins placements, but not in the modules' supply pins). JW |
