Yes, it is important to choose a project that is neither too easy (so that it won't gain much credit) nor too hard (so that the student won't be able to complete it).
It also needs to be appropriate to the specific requirements of the particular course. This is why it is so important to discuss the idea with the tutors/supervisors before committing to it. |
