It's just a hookup project. Students should have to learn to read and write before they build a project.
While the VU bar graph display might be "kewl" on the audio rack, it would be much more challenging to hook up and drive a pair of flat-panel displays that look like ammeters of old and attach it to the audio rack, driving it from an 805x-family member. That would require some reading of spec's and writing of code. RE |
