#181583 - PCB layout issue Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I isolated ground plane of WIFI from the rest of the circuit ground plane and made it connect to a star point under the GPS module with a wire, and horray!! GPS started working producing valid position fix. But unfortunately with degraded accuracy, for when WIFI is off I get same position all the time when I'm standing still, with excellent accuracy.
Tomorrow I will isolate the GPS solid ground plane from the digital ground plane and hope this will fix the problem. I will also play with WIFI external antenna and add more decoupling capacitors 1nF, 100nF, 4.7uF on parallel. I'm using switching regulator LM2576S-3.3 is this good enough or should I experiment with linear regulator? Mahmood |
