In the specific case of IAR (to which the article directly relates), that should be inexcusable!

IAR is a software company, and publishes a whole load of stuff about writing "good" software - so they, of all people, really should know better!

Indeed!

With the "support library" becoming such an integral part of the offering now, maybe that day will come...
