IAR is a software company, and publishes a whole load of stuff about writing "good" software - so they, of all people, really should know better! would it not be wonderful if some company with a high anticipated usage would say to a salesman "we will not use your chip unless you provide clean code fot the devboard" Indeed! With the "support library" becoming such an integral part of the offering now, maybe that day will come... |
