I do program pics for sinewave inverters too plus thousand other things, and I agree with Raj.
What you should do is divide the output AC waveform by resistors and make full wave rectifier by op-amp. Then read ADC for each sample in your timer interrupt for feedback. You need PIC18F family or dsPICs for ac feedback in real time, I found the PIC16F family good only for simple sinusoidal PWM inverters without output ac feedback. You do not have to use assembly for this, I did 4 types of sinusoidal inverters and I used hi-tech c compiler and they work perfectly well with short circuit protection. I did 400VA, 800VA, 2000VA and 2400VA sinusoidal pwm inverters with H-Bridge driver HIP4081 and HIP4082 and power MOSFETS. You need to measure the Drain - Source voltage of the lower MOSFET pairs in real time also for waveform shaping and short circuit protection. Mahmood |
