#180929 - Windows 7, thumbs up or thumbs down
Having finally taken the plunge and got a Windows 7 machine, there are things I like and things I don't.

File copy or move finally lets you specify what you want. Big thumbs up.

There's a great 'Math Input Panel' gizmo. Big thumbs up.

The calculator is better, but it still doesn't have a square root button.

Stuff has been moved around without apparent benefit. Thumbs down.

Some of the extra administrator permission dialogs seem pretty pointless. They can pop up behind a window and you wonder why nothing is happening. Unimpressed.

There are a few incompatibilities with old programs. I guess it's only to be expected with a new OS, but I still find it annoying. I'm running 64 bit, and that seems to make things worse.
