I tried making a quality noise generator a few years ago, and it's surprisingly difficult. Ironically you have to use low noise techniques (e.g. serious, heavy duty supply filtering, screened enclosures etc) to keep outside, non-random effects from creeping in to your random noise, thereby polluting it.
If it really has to be random, then you need to apply some tests. |
